Dr. Nazmun Nahar Tara completed M.B.B.S from Rangpur Medical College, Rangpur, Bangladesh, in 1987. She joined Bangladesh Government service in 1991 through 10th BCS recruitment. She worked as a gynaecologist as well as a fistula surgeon in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Rajshahi, Bangladesh from 2007 Upto 31st October, 2022. Apart from many gynaecological & obstetrical operations, she has been involved in gynaecological fistula surgery from 2007 up to now. After retirement, she has been performing fistula surgery in a private clinic named Care Nursings Home, Laxmipur,Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Her commitment to this field has been a spontaneous effort of her passion towards the fistula patients as she hopes to contribute to the treatment of as many as possible, especially the underprivileged.
